Mission Statement
To bridge the gap between evidence-based orthopaedic practice and real-world decision-making by publishing engaging, discussion-based case analyses that stimulate critical thinking and clinical reasoning.
Aims and Scope
- To present interactive case discussions reflecting real clinical dilemmas.
- To highlight decision-making principles from history, examination, imaging, and management perspectives.
- To integrate FRCS (Tr & Orth) learning points.
- To encourage multidisciplinary dialogue between surgeons, radiologists, physiotherapists, and researchers.
- To serve as an open-access educational platform combining academic rigour with clinical practicality.
- Short structured Q&A viva format linked to each case.
- Expert opinions on complex or controversial cases.
- CPD certificates are provided to both authors and readers
Guidance to authors
- The submission has not been previously published
- Abbreviations spelled out in full for the first time
- Submissions must meet one of the following criteria:
- Unexpected or unusual presentations of a condition
- New technique or modification of the original surgical technique
- An unusual complication of a particular condition or surgery
Process of publication
Submissions are reviewed by the editorial board.
Once approved , author will be notified
All authors are eligible to claim 1 CPD publication certificate for their portfolio
