Mission Statement

To bridge the gap between evidence-based orthopaedic practice and real-world decision-making by publishing engaging, discussion-based case analyses that stimulate critical thinking and clinical reasoning. 

 

Aims and Scope

  • To present interactive case discussions reflecting real clinical dilemmas.
  • To highlight decision-making principles from history, examination, imaging, and management perspectives.
  • To integrate FRCS (Tr & Orth) learning points.
  • To encourage multidisciplinary dialogue between surgeons, radiologists, physiotherapists, and researchers.
  • To serve as an open-access educational platform combining academic rigour with clinical practicality.
  • Short structured Q&A viva format linked to each case.
  • Expert opinions on complex or controversial cases.
  • CPD certificates are provided to both authors and readers

Guidance to authors
  • The submission has not been previously published
  • Abbreviations spelled out in full for the first time
 
  • Submissions must meet one of the following criteria:
  1. Unexpected or unusual presentations of a condition
  2. New technique or modification of the original surgical technique
  3. An unusual complication of a particular condition or surgery
 
Process of publication

Submissions are reviewed by the editorial board.

Once approved , author will be notified

All authors are eligible to claim 1 CPD publication certificate for their portfolio
